hey guys it’s Angela since I get this
question quite a lot today I’m going or
for positive reasons while you’re not
losing weight on the ketogenic diet
number one and this is a positive you
might be going through something called
body recomposition this means you’re in
fact losing body fat and building muscle
which is great
forget the scale for a while and start
measuring your waistline instead you
might be surprised to see your waistline
shrinking a couple interest after a few
weeks while your body weight appears to
stay the same
that’s because muscles weighed the same
as fat but take a black space as they’re
more dense so if after measuring for a
while you notice your waistline
shrinking congratulations that means you
lost body fat and put on muscle keeping
lean muscle mass is important for our
metabolism and increasingly important as
we age as well so you don’t want to lose
muscle you only want to lose body fat
